Melissa is an enthusiastic and caring osteopath. Her holistic approach to treatment aims to address all areas of the body to create balance and alleviate discomfort. Melissa believes strongly in the mind body connection and incorporating her pilates and yoga training where appropriate.
Melissa lived an active childhood which resulted in many visits to the osteopath herself. At the age of 12 years old while having a treatment she announced that she wanted to become an osteopath herself. Having fulfilled that dream Melissa still holds the same level of passion as she continues to further her skills and knowledge in areas of interest.
Alongside treating in clinic, Melissa also works for Unite Health as an educator training others in the APPI method of pilates.
Melissa is passionate about empowering women to be informed and educated about the changes to their body. She thrives on learning and offers comprehensive treatments, actively and confidently involving her patients in their plan and journey to better health and well-being.
Areas of Interest:
Following her time in private practice in Melbourne, Melissa relocated abroad to London completing a post graduate diploma in paediatric osteopathy at the UCO (University college of Osteopathy). She later continued her studies in a post graduate for women’s health osteopathy with the renowned Molinari Institute of Health.
Melissa enjoys working with women, babies, children and teens. For women, she offers preconception care plus treatment throughout all stages of the pregnancy and beyond, including assessment for pelvic floor dysfunction and post-partum recovery of your body.
In addition to anything mums and bubs, Melissa also enjoys treating neck and upper back pain and anything to do with the pelvis and SIJ.

Personal Interests:
When not in Clinic Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter, a dip in the ocean or embarking on a camping adventure in nature. She believed movement is medicine, with her top choices being running, pilates, yoga and water skiing.
